Have you ever put something down, looked away and then, turn around only to see that the object is in a different spot? Maybe have your television turn on and off without anyone in your room. We have all had some sort of paranormal experience and there is no official cause for these strange phenomena but many theories which leads me to the oddity of this post: Ghosts. What exactly are ghosts? Well, ghosts are supposedly apparitions of a dead person that is believed to appear or become manifest to the living. A famous ghost species is "The Vanishing Hitchhiker" This type of ghost will on the side of the road but beware, if you decide to pick up the hiker, once they are in your car, it could be fatal. Usually, the passenger will disappear but other times there have been reported cases of the cars crashing. Are these illusions due to tired, drowsy drivers? Or, is it the deceased, wanting to cause innocent victims the suffering that they had gone through? Take a drive and find out, as remember to never stop. Unless you want to invite the dead into your car.

Penhaunted Asylum
Pennhurst started as an institution for the feeble minded and epileptic. It as started with good intentions and grew to be unproductive and became more of a warehouse for unwanted people. With the walls covered in defecation and urine, the place always smelled bad. There were several casualties which leads to the odd occurrences. The tunnel of Pennhurst is known for being one of the most Haunted places in America. If you passed away in Pennhurst, you would be put onto a gurney and pushed down a long tunnel that lead to the morgue. People who are living and walk down that tunnel have been pushed, touched, scratched and if you were "lucky" enough, you were able to hear the voices of the departed.

Dolls of Doom or Fatality
La Isla de las Munecas, more famously known as "The Island of Dolls", is located in the canals close to Mexico City. On the island lies a shrine dedicated to a young female child who passed away due to unknown circumstances. Well, that is what is said. Others say differently, a story of Don Julian. Julian was having a sermon on the streets of Mexico when he was mobbed by villagers. Thinking the villagers were being influenced by a negative force, he began to collect dolls to lock away the bad entities. Eventually, he left his family and moved onto the island for the last 50-or-so years of his life.

Odd Furball
Rabbit. That one word could mean a few things, The Easter Bunny, cute pet, wild animal or, hundreds of those little fur-balls hopping around "Usaga Jimi", a Japanese island only a few minutes from the far coast of Japan. There are approximately 800 rabbits on this island, and how they got ther is the big question. There are many theories on how they got there, but each story depends on who you ask. I will tell you the top two most popular after some breeding on the islands dark, dark history. Between the years of 1929 and 1945, the Japanese army secretly created well over 6000 tons of poisonous gas during WWII. Sadly, the rabbits were brought to use and experiment on with the noxious gas. So, if you ever wanted to travel the odd world, check out Usaga Jiimi, and oddest wonder of all islands.
